Phoenix Faeries November Meetup

Come celebrate the darkening of the season with us.

Door Prizes to include: a piece of jewelry, cookies, a pulsating light wand.

Sahuaro Ranch park is an interesting place, with a wide variety of odd animals and plants.

We will gather at the rose garden near the eastern entrance of the park. We will then tromp over to the Western, better lit portion.

Should you arrive late, you can find us near the giant, 8 foot tall mushroom(s).

This meeting will include getting to know one another, as well as discussing the history and future of our group. It would be a good idea to bring any pictures, photos, fiction, myths, or other artistic materials surrounding the faeries or other unusual creatures that you are interested in.

If we have enough people in attendance, we can conduct a "Storm"... replete with rain, thunder, lightning, wind, and fog. These storms increase mystery as well as wonder, making the location more habitable to subtle beings.

We will have some food on hand, but feel free to bring your own drink, the fountains aren't too tasty.

Please R.S.V.P. for the meeting, and use the comments section to voice any questions or concerns you have. Also, that would be the appropriate place to note if you are uncomfortable around people in costume; if anyone nixes costumes, tone it down! However, I would reccomend trying it out, it is pretty entertaining, and really messes with the mundane folk.
We'll do an energy excercise if needed.

While our group contains many who are pagan or otherwise magickally active, we are open to those who are not. Accordingly, if you are "in the broom closet" be sure not to reveal more than you'd like to. We strive to make this group comfortable and safe.

If you want to make sure the costumes stay at home, only those who R.s.v.p. "yes" will be heeded. We can't ditch our fun on "maybe" people!

While the park has many parking lots, the Eastern ones are closest to the Rose Garden.
